Droid Tycoon Best Droids & Base Setup

A full base has 25 slots — 11 worker, 9 astromech and 5 battle. A droid earns +10% income in its own slot type, but can go anywhere. Here are the most profitable droids per slot at Beskar — excluding the grind-locked Legendary & Mythic droids, which are the obvious-but-brutal best.

Optimal base income

Filling every slot with the best non-Legendary/Mythic pick yields about 673.2K/s. The all-out ceiling, using the strongest Legendary and Mythic droids in every slot (RIV-3T / AXI-POD / X-ONK), is about 3.6M/s.

How to build up to it

You will not fill a perfect base on day one, so build toward it in order. Early on, just get any droid into every one of the 25 slots, because an empty slot earns nothing and you want all 25 filled to bank the +25% collection bonus. Next, swap in higher-income droids wherever you have them, favouring ones native to the slot for the extra 10%. Then push your best earners up the tiers, since the Rainbow-to-Beskar jump dwarfs everything else. Save the grind-locked Legendary and Mythic droids for last: they are the ceiling, but a single Mythic costs tens of thousands of upgrade chips, so most of your base should be efficient Epics like Gunrunner long after you can afford a few premium picks. The tables below rank the realistic picks per slot; the Mythic guide covers the top end. One caveat for the newer Protocol droids: the game has no Protocol slot documented, so they never get the matching-slot bonus in your base and are ranked here as plain fillers. Their real job is the Companion Slot, where they give a credit multiplier.
